Wow what a coincidence that you all have the same positive points to make! Do you work for M&B Builders Ltd, are they desperate for some positive press? There's no need for deviousness here, a few biased comments are fine, someone else will come along and balance them up - just look at The Timothy Swinebar saga.

If you're connected in some way with the development, why not post up a few pictures, really try and sell the places? I'm as keen for the regeneration of Folkestone as anyone.

I've got it, why not do an Evening Standard style apartment giveaway, in return for acres of press?

This is my site The 'Gerald that I set up in a fury of excitement when I first came to Folkestone in approximately 2004. I had been a frequent visitor for a while before that but I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get nowadays. The site was updated more frequently with a gig calendar and voting for favourite places and things, + I know it was a useful reference for others who were moving here. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though only a couple of miles) it doesn't get as much attention as it used to. Ironic really as Folkestone itself is now becoming the exciting place we knew it was about to become. My name is not Gerald by the way, the name comes from the name of a pretend paper in an episode of The Day Today or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are great aren't they? Do get in touch if you have something to offer, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on Twitter.
