Blog2005 ≫ mostly they're being open and nice about what they're doing

With things like gmail they let you connect to your account however you like, using outlook, using a browser, using an RSS aggregator, whatever... That's got to be a good thing hasn't it? I've not tried fetching my gmail via POP3 in another browser, but it's meant to work.

This new looks like it could cause some people some damage, but you can't blame them for just making good products... they're forcing everyone else to raise their games.
