Top night!!! club upstairs and party bar downstairs. The DJ downstairs was an old geezer. Best DJ I've seen for years and that includes all the holidays abroard. Highly recomended. Music upstairs commercial dance (eric prydes basement jaxx etc. Downstairs all the CHEESE wham, Robbie, Hot Stuff, Full monty. Drinks promos until 11 and this is when the DJ is absolutly MENTAL. This is part of my website The FG that I set up in a fury of excitement when I first came to Folkestone in approximately 2004. I'd been a frequent visitor for a while previous to that but I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get now. This site was updated more frequently with a calendar of events + voting for favourite places + things, + I know it was a useful reference for others who were moving here. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though only a couple of miles) it doesn't get as much love as it used to. Ironic really as The town is now becoming the exciting place we knew it was just about to. My name is not Gerald BTW, this comes from the name of a pretend paper in an episode of Brasseye or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, + how there is a local paper here called the Folkestone Herald.
