I used to do TONNES of it ten years ago, my fanzine was all done in Corel Draw. Cheers though, I might go look at inkscape as vector based stuff is handy. Gimp 1 seems to be able to do some though anyway, you make "paths" out of vectors and then tell it it draw over the top of them, fill them in with a pattern, etc.
