Ooh there's a proper Google Maps API now, they've made things like this legit! The old way still works, and the new way means a full recoding, but it will make sure the map app is stable... so it's great for my interactive map of folkestone, but less so for sites like floridasexualpredator.com1 though as the new rules specifically say "no using these maps to identify individuals or harrass people"...
