Not sure entirely what this means1, as podcasts are just MP3s, so it supports them anyway. Guessing, from this comment:
"With the next version of iTunes, due within 60 days, there will now be an easy way for everyone to find and subscribe to"
that it'll include ipodder.org style directories and maybe search facilities too... if they're going to incorporate them into the itunes store, then this will ease the way for people to charge small amounts for a show too...
