Blog2005 ≫ TOO TIRED

Blee, still exhausted from a FINE weekend of boozing in the West Country. Had to be up early today anyway, working from home as we had to take our passports to the registrar and give notice to get married. Actually got woken up at SIX THIRTY, a knock on the door our pool table's arrived! So that's the good news out of the way, not such chirpy brightness from the chaps at SKY, they have turned up now too and say they can't fit a satellite dish to the building. Just like the last one said, though this time we have a letter of permission from the freeholder. I think they just can't be bothered. I strongly suspect they just couldn't be bothered to do it, as they said "we'll just go outside and phone a supervisor and check", got in the van and drove off. They've put their phone down on SKY central too, and are on the run Max and Paddy1 style... Pretty odd, very annoying, not sure we are ever going to get a decent telly picture in this flat...

Full weekend report and pictures after work today. Stay tuned!

UPDATE: The Sky engineer cancelled the job after running away, he's made up some tale about this being a rented property with an unsuitable flat roof. No-one at SKY is interested, they'll only offer to book another job in, so another day waiting at home for another joker to tell us lies...
