Outspoken Folkestone locals needed

FG ≫ 2005 ≫ Outspoken Folkestone locals needed

Hi, Sky News will be in Folkestone on Tuesday afternoon as part of our election coverage, and we're trying to pull together a group of local voters to give us their views on the election - what the big issues are for YOU, and what you make of the three parties. I know Pauly can't vote, but that doesnt matter, everyone's opinions still count. So if you live in Folkestone, and want to be on TV, or want to get your message across to the politicians - please email me at robert.owers@bskyb.com, or phone me on 07751200227, and I'll explain all. Thanks!

This is my site The Folkestone Gerald that I built in a fury of excitement when I first came to Folkestone sometime in 2004. I'd been a frequent visitor for a while previous to that but I am technically one of those DFLs you get nowadays. The site was updated more frequently with a gig calendar and voting for best venues and things, and I hear it was a useful resource for those who were moving here. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though only a couple of miles) it doesn't get as much love as it used to. Ironic really as The town is now becoming the exciting place we always thought it was just about to. I am not Gerald BTW, the name comes from a pretend paper in an episode of The Day Today or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local paper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are GRATE aren't they? Do contact me if you have something to contribute, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on the twitter.
