Blog2005 ≫ Dodgy referers

Just written some code to plug into my refererCode scripts1 to stop this referer spam nonsense... it's sure to be a bit too strict at first, but what it's going to do is check each new referer I get in my logs, request that page to see if there really is a link to my page on it, and if there's not log it. Too many pages without a proper link to me, and you're out of the game!

It's a shame to have to generate extra web traffic like this, hopefully it will be kept to a minimum though.
