In this complete non story about The Darkness in Friday's Daily Mail it says

"Audience member Paul Clarke was appalled. He said yesterday: 'Justin's snide remarks put a real dampener on the evening. They were totally unneccessary'.

Darkness ticket sales seem to have gone a bit off the boil, possibly it was too many people speculating and buying extra tickets, rather than any waning popularity. I've heard of lots of people trying to sell tickets1, but here doesn't seem to have been much of a demand for them... a chum managed to get two standing Wembley tickets for only eight quid. Don't dwell on this too much, especially if you're soon to be moved to Manchester.

Maybe I'll hang on before splashing out on Motley Crue tickets...
