Blog2004 ≫ Who said I'd not use this new gadget?

I have used my new gadget1 for something work related, after only a few days. Can I claim it back on expenses now? Every month I get a list of ticket sales from Ticketmaster as an Excel spreadsheet, which I forward on or look at on someone else's computer.. Now I can open it on the new Pocket PC1 can. Disappointingly, the top five shows I sold in July were Will Young, Mama Mia, Keane, We Will Rock You, and Jools Holland... Good to see that The Fleadh was my biggest seller in June, shame it's a flat commission fee per ticket, and not a percentage share of that fat ticket price.

Ticket emails were out of action for part of July, now things are much improved, I'm expecting much more action, and hoefully a doubling of earnings next month, we'll see...

Next stop for the new shiny toy will be some investigation of Barfly Excel listings.

Still having trouble with XML::RSS, it's not producing legitimate RSS output, I think it should convert / escape any bad characters itself, but it's having none of it and I can't see why...

Oppressively HOT again today, so going to have to go to this popbitch thing tonight feeling HOT, and also with my new router and nephew's birthday present in tow, so not feeling very party like...
