Clare has found the fearsome sounding akentishwedding.co.uk/1, which apparently is good because it's got reviews of all the available venues in Kent. She's also come home with a wedding survival guide2 which I am less pleased with, partly because of the annoying Bridget Jones style inserts, but mostly because it perpetuates the myth put about by diamond traders that it's reasonable to spend two months salary on a ring.
Thought there was a bit missing out of my bank account, just checked and I made my first mortgage payment on the 10th of this month! I feel so old! Next payment due on the first, but I get paid by then, should be on Friday if all goes according to plan. Also I am insured, wasn't sure if I'd signed that or not, but I guess I did, I have cover for five grands worth of computer kit in the new flat, I'd better get a computer in there sharpish...
