PopEx ≫ 2004 ≫ Must Destroy Barfly!

It's Must Destroy night on Friday!

This Friday three of Must Destroy's bands are playing The Barfly, Camden, That London, here's what they have to say about them:

Do Me Bad Things :: Croydon's premier 9-piece rock / pop / soul freakoutfit. Words alone fail to describe the full DMBT experience, but if we were to try, it would go something like: "'Bat Out Of Hell' played by Funkadelic meets Turbonegro covering Steely Dan's 'Aja' meets Jellyfish's 'Spilt Milk' performed by Queens Of The Stoneage". with The Misfits thrown in for good luck. or something.

Tramp Attack :: All the way from the Mersey delta come our lovely Tramp Attack lads. They'll be bringing their van full of smashin' skiffletastic pop nuggets with 'em, andperforming tracks from their debut long-player - entitled 'Attack! Attack!! Attack!!!' - such as the fantastic new single '1471' (out in stores THIS WEEK, kids. go buy one...).

Sludgefeast :: goddamit kids, you NEED more Sludgefeast in your life. Primo, lo-fi, fuzzed-out-of-its-mind rock'n'f**ckin'roll (and i mean rock'n'roll as it used to be.. scare yer mum, loud-assed rock'n'roll. not namby-pamby indie fops wearing vintage Harley shirts to try look tough but sounding like Britpop left in the fridge too long) that brings to mind the testosterone-fuelled rock power of W.A.S.P meets the overdriven, fuzzy as all hell, Jetrock sounds of the mighty Guitar Wolf.
