Blog ≫ 2004 ≫ V Festival press release

Quite a saucy lineup so far: The Pixies, The Strokes, Kings of Leon, Snow Patrol, Keane, Massive Attack, Primal Scream, NERD, Athlete, Pink, Dido, Muse, Jamie Cullum... hmm, sort of trails off a bit there...

"The ninth annual V Festival, sponsored by Virgin Mobile, returns to the picturesque green hills of Hylands Park, Chelmsford and the lake-lined open land of Weston Park, Staffordshire, on the weekend of 21st and 22nd August 2004. And as you can see from the list of the names above, festival organisers have pulled out all the stops with an eclectic line-up headed by The Strokes, Muse, Dido and The Pixies."

Tickets go on sale at 9am on 20th March, and music lovers are advised to get their tickets early to avoid disappointment as last years tickets went in record time, with both sites selling out in just over two months.

There's RUMOURS that Justin Trousersnake will be joinign NERD. So if you like him, then that's nice.
