Blog2004 ≫ Folkestone then and now

Found a page of old photos of Folkestone 1, it in turn has a link to some fascinating 100 year old film footage of Edwardian Folkestone at work and at play 2, including footage of the "Switchback railway"... Great to see that then, as now if you point a video camera at someone their first instinct is to stand dead still facing you.
