Blog2003 ≫ Fair Play Trophy

Went to the BBC last night to do BACKING VOCALS for my friend Mark's session thing for Steve Lamacq. His single Fair Play Trophy (doh, "tripod" matches searches for "ipod"!) should be due another airing for Euro 2004 and Lamacq was doing a "review of how the year 2004 might be", so Mark was in there playing live, and he got his most tuneless and bellowy friends and family in to do the chorus bits, it was good. Should get a picture from within the studio to put up here soon... Went in a couple of OK pubs too, The Ship, and The Stags Head.

Clare's mum says she has seen the perfect flat for us in Folkestone, it looks very good on paper, so I'm off to view it on Saturday... Only two bedrooms, but it has views over The Leas, secure parking, and a 24' by 18' lounge, plenty of pool table space1...

Spending the day rejigging the barfly listings, making sure they're goign out in the most efficient way... following the success of my perl excel reading, I'm going to try writing some Excel files now too...
