Well boys and girls, the time has finally come - in more ways than one. It's like the planets all aligning at once! For not only is it Christmas time, Miss JT's 21st birthday again, Uncle Bob's 10th year of existence AND the 100th club night we've ever done, BUT it's also time for us to wave goodbye. Maybe not forever - but it's time to call it a day on Bob's as we have grown to know and love it. Yes, London's favourite long-running club night, that's propelled the likes of Sophie Ellis Bextor and The Darkness to fame and fortune, has decided to move on. We may emerge, Mr Benn like, in another place and in an odd disguise at some point in the future - but who knows? To all intents and purposes, this is the end, my friends. So come and help us celebrate with the best EVER knees-up so we can go out with a bang! To help us make it the greatest night London has ever known, not only is Uncle Bob's Number One celebrity DJ, the luscious Sarah Cawood, gracing our decks once more, but legendary former Bob's resident DJ Simon Price is back for one night only. PLUS we're proud to announce the return of Bob's live favourites SchwaB. This lot have got music lovers salivating on the eve of the release of their new single 'Bland Band Boogie' on December 1 through Foundation, with X-Ray magazine gushing: "SchwaB are an East London five-piece intent on layering sound to create a unique fuzzy beats soup. They sprang from the ashes of the larger Lucci Daddo Fuzz Orchestra, a band who took lounge music and fuzz pedals into house clubs. SchwaB have combined their love of Booker T with an exuberant, Jon Spencer-style frontman in the form of Paddy Austin. According to beats controller Rick Hudson, SchwaBs aim is 'to capture the essence of good old records that people dance to'. With their clutter of car boot sale paraphernalia and keyboard player Mike Chesnutts secondhand instruments, SchwaB are a majestic live force and a soundmans nightmare." For more information, go to http://www.schwabmusic.co.uk Band on at 9pm SHARP. Plus Bob's resident DJs Miss JT, Billy Reeves and Hitman Hearn will be there playing their favourite Bob's tracks of all time. Tears will be shed, but most importantly, FUN WILL BE HAD with their trademark mix of the best youth club classics, disco trash, punk stompers, sleazy listening, racy retro, drunken anthems, exotic rubbish, and perfect pop which have all added up to make Bob's the best fun night London has ever known. As ever, there'll also be the Dance Like Your Dad competition, giveaways, Hat's Entertainment, plus free booze for the first 50 in and naff nibbles as per usual.

AND DON'T FORGET - ALL DRINKS AT THE WATER RATS ARE AT PUB PRICES, SO YOU MAY AS WELL GET DOWN THERE AS SOON AS DOORS OPEN AT 8PM, DONTCHA THINK?

Bob's is 8pm-late at The Water Rats Theatre, 328 Grays Inn Road, Kings Cross WC1, near Kings Cross Tube. Entry 5/4 with flyer or TIME OUT PRIORITY card before 10pm.
