Today I started a new website, this is it 123. It's going to be a kind of weblog, a place for me to post links and stuff, and if anyone else likes it, in the words of the song, that's a bonus.
Today I am mostly liking this house 4 more than this 5, this 6, and quite a bit more than our own. Also trying to decide which pub quiz to go to next Tuesday, The Tup or the Rose And Crown 7.
Is this really the very first post of the blog? I was just looking because I'd set a thing in a script somewhere saying "any content before 8/5/03 is probably from popex" and thought "that must be the date of the last content from popex". But no! This is the date of my very first blog entry. First of the blog in this form anyway. I did have an earlier version where I was keeping a diary of houses I went to see with a view to buying, probably quite a way before this date. Anyway, back to my popex content...
I see now, in 2026 that though this is the first post on the blog it is only post number 42 on the site. I was using this site for family tree content before that, probably for the family tree message board.
Only?? 42 is the meaning of life!
Property links, that cannot possibly still be valid. First one was from Foxtons: foxtons.co.uk/search?md5=f4b1f2aa66b3a81c9b7514018f68b8a3&inst_ref=islnp44871 - no idea what the property was now, or how much it cost, but I would say it must have been a two bedroom place somewhere up to £220k which seems to be what I thought I could stretch to.
A link to theredsquare.com which must have been a new developments
homeworksproperty.co.uk which would have been another new development
