Brave Captain were ace last night at the Barfly, I wasn't expecting to like it, but I did... More importantl opening band The Futureheads were AMAZING, a bit China Drum maybe, but with proper multi-vocal harmonizing, like some kind of alt.barbershop.

Also somehow all their songs sound exactly like "Killing An Arab", fantastic... they did an almost unrecognisable cover of "Hounds of Love", which was also very very fab.

They are from the North East, and one of Kenickie was there, and also they were from the North East. No sign of any of Three Colours Red or Lindisfarne though.

Also, don't forget that Bruce Springsteen tickets go on sale at 9am...
