Come out and play

If you're in London tonight, don't miss Frankie Machine upstairs at Highbury Garage tonight... "Leicester's answer to Nick Drake" they're calling him, which I think is worth repeating as often as possible (but, um, from Derby, sorry). He's supporting The Warm Jets, doing their first gig since Reading Festival 1998! Apparently one of the band ended up sharing a chalet with the guys who run the Silver Rocket club (upstairs at the Garage, first Friday of every month), and they talked them into playing the club...

Also you can make it to the Fighting Cocks too I think, they're just down the road, onstage at midnight, as previously reported here: [link to popex removed]

See you at the bar, mines a small sweet sherry.
