Sick of the Capitocentric press only giving you gossip from the latest London Danceteria? Fear not, Alan McGee is taking his "Radio 4" night to Scotchland, so get along there and make the pages of NME and the Daily Mirror yourself!

On February 24th, Radio 4 will be decamping to Glasgow Lighthouse... McGee and chums will be DJing, and there will be bands playing. But we don't know who they are yet. Bands to play at previous Radio 4 nights (at it's regular home of Notting Hill Arts Centre) have included Gay Dad, Captain Soul and Zodiac Mindwarp.

Whereas WE get the full R4 experience, from 6pm until I've no idea what time, Glasgow is only allowed a limited version - from 8pm until midnight.

This content originally from my very popular (in the tail end of the '90s) website popex.com. Some of this contributed by other people, but mainly originally created by me. I moved the content here here when the website eventually shut down at the start of the noughties. Hopefully this ignites memories if you find it.
