hello Julie what the person who wrote that pack of lies above don't mention is is that they are in local copetion with The Drum and see them as a threat. The Drum is a Pub with a food outlet as most pubs are nowadays food qaulity is very high and prices are very reasonable. The biggest problem with all these type of web sites is there is no contril over what is put on them (true or false) and if you dont know the local pub why not walk in and make your own mind up for yourself.

This is my site The 'Gerald that I set up in a fury of enthusiasm when I first came to Folkestone sometime in '04. I'd been a frequent visitor for a few years previous to that but I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get nowadays. The site used to be updated more frequently with a calendar of events + voting for best venues and things, and I know it was a handy reference for others who were thinking of moving here. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though only to Hythe) it doesn't get as much attention as it used to. Ironic really as Folkestone itself is becoming the exciting place we always thought it was just about to. My name is not Gerald BTW, this comes from the name of a pretend paper in an episode of Brasseye or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, + how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald.
