This is my site The Folkestone Gerald that I set up in a frenzy of excitement when I first came to Folkestone in approximately 2004. I had been a regular visitor for a while previous to that but I am technically one of those DFLs you get nowadays. This site used to be updated more frequently with a calendar of events and voting for favourite places + things, and I hear it was a handy resource for others who were moving here. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though just a couple of miles) it doesn't get as much love as it used to. Ironic really as The town is becoming the exciting place we knew it was about to become. I am not Gerald BTW, this comes from the name of a fake paper in an episode of Brasseye or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local paper here called the Folkestone Herald.
