we've had a team for last coupla years 6 a side on the monday nite league at the astro turf but loada my mates av gone to uni so its dispersed for now but i will get a team together for the next season startin in feb/march time roughly. This is part of my site The 'Gerald that I set up in a fury of excitement when I first came to Folkestone sometime in 2004. I'd been a frequent visitor for a while before that so I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get nowadays. The site was updated more frequently with a calendar of events + voting for best venues and things, and I hear it was a useful reference for those who were moving here. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though just to Hythe) it doesn't get as much love as it used to. Ironic really as The town is becoming the exciting place we always thought it was just about to. My name is not Gerald by the way, this comes from a fake newspaper in an episode of Brasseye or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local paper here called the Folkestone Herald.
