Blog ≫ 2002 ≫ Stuff I have learned about Suede

Suede release Positivity on the 16th of September, from their forthcoming album "A New Morning". I've got it and it's ACE, it sounds familiar at the same time as sounding like a gift of new material... Here's some STUFF that I found interesting from the biog that was sent with the CD:

+Dog Man Star was in the Guardian's top 100 records of all time

+Simon Gilbert and Neil Codling are cousins

+Morrissey covered "My Insatiable One"

+They've sold out three nights at Shepherds Bush Empire, but they're doing a proper tour, covering Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Birmingham, Norwich, Bristol, Cambridge and Southampton, see here...

+They're headlining Glastonbury next year.

That last one might be a lie.

I moved the content here here when the website finally closed down at the start of the 2000s. Hopefully this ignites memories (assuming you read this).
