PopEx ≫ 2002 ≫ GameCube Launch Bash

You probably missed the chance to win tickets to it by the time you read this...

There's going to be a Game Cube launch party on Saturday (27th) in Brick Lane, That London... if you want to go to it, reply to this message with something clever and witty and the words "yes, I understand it's in Brick Lane and if you put me on the guestlist I really will come, I'm not wasting your time, and I'm not entering for the sake of it. I will go and enjoy it and not waste the place of someone else" in there somewhere...

"You can play over 50 ace games on the even more ace GameCube" it says here.

Exclusive first party launch titles Luigis Mansion and WaveRace: Blue Storm will be heavily showcased at the event, along with an outstanding portfolio of third-party titles, with many EXCLUSIVE to Nintendo GameCube such as Stars Wars Rogue Leader Rogue Squadron II from LucasArts and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle from Sega only playable to Nintendo GameCube. Not only that, there will also be sneaky chances to try post-launch games such as the Super Smash Bros. Melee and NBA Courtside 2002, along with the already legendary, Miyamoto-created Pikmin, plus a whole host of outstanding third-party games. more

The Cube Clubs main attraction is undoubtedly the Nintendo GameCube but there will be plenty of side-show activity going on besides with the unique Nintendo-twist for those fancying a break from game-play. Climb aboard the WaveRace rider for a high-powered jet-ski experience and hang on as it bounces and leaps over the waves, whilst onlookers spur you on. And dont be a square. Get yourself cubed in the Photo-Cube by sticking your head in to a giant cube whilst inside 6 digital cameras take a photo of your head from 6 different angles. The end result your own print that you can assemble to make your own cube head.

Oh, and it's over 18s only... the competition, not the console. You can pre-order one here2 but to be self-kickingly honest, they're supposed to be a lot cheaper than that when they're released.
