Eastenders?

This Sunday (14th January) at the Elbow Rooms, Islington is the next chapter in the ongoing saga of Arther Baker's Sunday Jam...

Alabama 3 frontman Larry Love is the golden thread running through the day... He's treating the crowd to "The Larry Love Show Band" (stripped down acoustic country n blues), which then mutates into "The Memphis Nine"...

Those two are just the warm up for the main course, of course, The Alabama 3...

The Elbow Rooms is in Chapel Market, Islington, near Angel Tube Station... It's open at 1pm, and it's free to get in, and there's loads of Pool tables...

This content originally from my very popular (in the tail end of the '90s) site popex.com. Some of this contributed by other people, but mostly editorial originally created by me. I moved the content here here when the website finally closed down in the early noughties. Hopefully this ignites memories (assuming you read this).
