'Maker to close; a nation fails to notice.
Feeder on the front cover? It wouldn't surprise me if the Melody Maker doesn't last much longer at this rate.
Things should be OK though, on Tuesday I spoke to a source close to the editor who denied it was to close, and again on Wednesday management and staff were unaware of plans to close it.
PopEx weekly anyone? Email me if you have shitloads of cash to waste.
This content originally from my very popular (in the late '90s) site popex.com. Some of this written by other people, but mostly editorial originally created by me. I moved the content here here when the website eventually closed down at the start of the 2000s. Hope this ignites memories (if anyone sees this).
