PopEx ≫ 2000 ≫ This week's FREE STUFF!

L-l-lovely L-l-ladytron sent stuff, so did Wookie, Wilt and Moshi Moshi Records...

Ladytron (recent winners of a duelling keyboards head to head with Add N To (X) have put together a platter that is packed with the sounds of SPACE and THE FUTURE, in their four track "mu-tron ep". NME made it single of the week, bizarrely calling it "concussive metal", but that could just be me quoting them wildly out of context... think Air and a little Pet Shop Boys, and also if knew what Kraut Rock was, I might say this was it too. They've released it on actual 12 inch vinyl, as well as CD, and both formats are up for grabs as part of tomorrows prize giving... HEY, if you don't win, you can go buy it, in shops, on Monday...

Also received this, an indescribable album from Ingo Star Cruiser (uh Pavementy? Primal Scream [some content lost here...] /ck from Wilt and a something I believe the young people call "Garage" from Wookie, which I really like, what is happening to me? Anyway, all of these could be YOURS, if, you are number one top trader tomorrow...

I will also find something for the best signer upper (which lets face it is going to be Dennis1 again), and run the other mobile phone competition too, I promise...

The content here originally from my very popular (in the tail end of the '90s) site popex.com. Some of this contributed by valued punters, so mostly editorial originally created by me. I shifted this content here when popex finally shut down in the early '00s. Hope this brings back memories (if you read this).
