PopEx ≫ 2000 ≫ Ooberman get HEAVY

Ooberman release an MP3 only single today, due to be withdrawn within 24 hours...

Ooberman release an MP3 only single "Heavy Duty" today, only available from their official site, ooberman.com...

Following what they believe is poor treatment by the media, leading utlimately to them losing their label, the band have decided NOT to release this single to the mainstream press.

PopEx has a copy of it, (we're not felt to be competing with the inkies - compliment or not?) and it's a sub-two minute blast of guitars and a vocoder vocal, reminiscent of a warp speed version of The Who's "Pinball Wizard".

The single is available between 8pm and 10pm GMT today only, Tuesday 4th of July.

Get in there first - second is for losers...

In other news, happy 300th wedding anniversary Mum and Dad, and happy independence day to all you merkins...

I moved the content here here when the website eventually shut down at the start of the noughties. Hopefully this ignites memories (assuming anyone sees this).
