PopEx ≫ 2000 ≫ Monkey Boy is the new "World of Leather"

First pop casualty of the new era...

No, not the band with one million guitar players, but the company that just ceased trading on the REAL stock exchange... PopEx Administrators will be brought in who will assess a fair price for the Monkey Boy stock (about a penny a share sounds fair) and everyone who still owns will receive this price.

I think it's time for a new rule of "no insider trading" on here... If someone's buying a huge amount of shares that there is NO VISIBLE REASON (ie no upcoming hit single, not shagging Billie, not playing at Wembley Stadium) then I can only assume there's some kind of dodgy dealing going on, which is a criminal offence in the real world, so probably all profits should be confiscated. What do you think?

I replicated this content here when the website eventually closed down at the start of the '00s. Hope this ignites memories (if you find it).
