PopEx ≫ 1999 ≫ Leftfield at number one

Leftfield has emerged at the TOP of the new "chart of returns" (bottom right of this page1), where bands are rated for their likely investment potential. Although older players will yearn for the days of the "10 Squillion Times It's Value" return from Bernard Butler - at a return of 11% - Leftfield is looking a safe bet. Could this be down to the shockingness of the new video? Only the release of Britney Spear's new single (working title "You think that's 4 real, pah, I'm going to cut my fucking HEAD OFF!") will tell for sure.

This content originally from my very popular (in the tail end of the '90s) website popex.com. Parts were written by other people, but mostly editorial originally created by me. I moved the content here here when the website eventually closed down at the start of the 2000s. Hope this ignites memories (if you find it).
