Don't think that patio cleaner I got has done much good. I might get another one. I've sprayed it on and jet washed it off but don't think it's looking much cleaner. I got the boys to go out there today and fill a bin bag each with weeds and twigs and waste, and they did it relatively happy. About another hundred efforts like this and it will look OK.

Apart from that today we've been down to the beach to get an ice cream, even me. A new one I think, vegan Magnum blueberry cookie chill, very nice.
Yesterday we took the car into Folkestone and walked down through town to the harbour arm. Got a couple of books in charity shops, but then one nice surprise (for me at least) was a VW show on the harbour arm. My pictures didn't turn out well, but there were a load of beetles and VW camper vans of all different styles.
Watched Captain America: Civil War when we got back and ate pizza. Why is it Captain America: Civil War and not Avengers: Civil War? It's a full Avengers movie.
Light cloud and light winds, 9 - 14℃.
Twenty years ago today, Ghost Of The Robot at Islington Academy. Wasn't very good but it was a bit of Buffy universe in the flesh, and was a good night out.
Clare up at 5am this morning and off to Ireland. For a whole week! I have no idea how we will cope. We will definitely eat worse without her influence. Or eat better, depends on your point of view. The boys will be trying to persuade me to get more takeaways for sure.
T1 and I both got up at about that time to see her off, he was up before I was and he brought me a cup of tea. I hope this sets a precedent for the week. T2 slept in a bit.
Some free energy yesterday1, it was around lunchtime so I even did some ironing and put some washing machine cleaner through on a hot cycle.
Beautiful day today. Did not run, I went back to sleep after Clare had gone, but we will all go out in a bit. Think I'm going to do some work in the garden this morning and then go out for the afternoon. There is a barbecue at The Fountain but I'm not sure. Do I mow the lawn today or not? It is looking very green out there, I put some lawn feed on, and it has grown fast. But it is "no mow May".
Weather very very nice today. Went for a walk at lunch and then again after work, down to Princes Parade. They have taken away all the hoardings now, it looks much more open.
Light rain showers and a gentle breeze, 11 - 17℃.
I had got out of commuting to London, by doing an early shift testing something, but have now decided to go in. Might get away with not going in the following four weeks, so it's good to show willing...
Some free energy today1, that I did manage to make use of. More tomorrow, when I am at work, maybe Clare will put some washing on.
Some gigs from this day in my gig going past, all favourites of the time who I went off. I'm so fickle. Terrorvision today in 1994, Marion today in 1996, andThe Cooper Temple Clause today in 2002. Tomorrow is a big one.
Tesla’s shares have jumped after reports the firm has cleared an important regulatory hurdle in China by partnering with search giant Baidu.
Maybe the Tesla free money is back again? This used to do really well for me. Right now I'm down 12% on them but recently it has been quite a lot worse. In the early days it seemed to just keep going up. I only have two shares, so not that important. Rest of my stonks are doing alright.
She's basically better now, but still concerned. Can feel there is still something remaining of this infection, though antibiotics and rest seem to have done the job. She is worried it will come back when the antibiotics run out. She's signed off work for the rest of this week, but meant to be off on a trip to Ireland next week for her dad's 80th, so aiming to go into work before then.
It's amazing the dentist has no idea of the disruption he has caused.
We've been watching TV off the computer, because we don't have a better way of watching Channel 4. So plug the laptop into the TV and watch it through channel4.com. Yesterday getting up to pause "Stand Up To Cancer Great British Bake Off" he knocked it onto the floor. It seems to have survived (I'm using it now) but I'm not sure about the trackpad, it might now be on its last legs.
The programme was heartbreaking, they had a feature on a little girl who'd been in and out of hospital since she was a few months old, then her mum died, then she died, aged eleven, during the filming of this. She was so brave. You can give money here https://www.channel4.com/su2c, we did.
