It's all go today

It's all go today, XFM Winter Wonderland tickets sold out before I managed to send out a spam about them, so now doing a bit of marketing of The Eagles Farewell Tour. I'd like to see them, but it's 75 quid or so for tix... did this suddenly turn into America? I am almost FEARING coming here again, how much will it be? Wishing I'd seen them at , and also not got quite so squiffy during the one time I did see them...

Doing some work on favelets / bookmarklets - little scripts that you save as bookmarks / favourites. Just got a tip from slayeroffice's mouseover DOM inspector favelet for calling favelets remotely, should have done that all along, means I can update them without needing to "reinstall" them on each computer I use... For example . Not a lot of use to you, but you can see how it includes code from my server; the itself just includes the from here. If you don't know what I'm on about here, don't fret, this is of limited appeal. Going to group all my favelets / bookmarklets together on here later, probably into whatever comes up when you search here for favelets...

More stuff: LOST podcasts, having second thoughts about Primal Scream, and a lemur named after John Cleese.

So, as mentioned before our office party was Friday night, actually in our office, and it seems to have been a resounding success. We had to leave early to try and get to Fareham, but so great a time was had by all they had to turn the heating off, and it's not back on yet, so I am FREEZING.

Journey to Fareham wasn't as smooth as it might have been, last trains seem to be getting earlier, so we ended up getting a cab back from Southampton. GREAT weekend, though we probably ate too much. Took a trip out to Keydell Nurseries hoping to see santa with the nephews, no show, but they have a SERIOUS quantity of xmas house and garden decorations there... this grossly lighting up the front of your house seems to be a particularly popular thing in Hampshire, not seen much of it in London, wonder if we will in Folkestone... next tried a Santa's grotto Fareham, but too busy and couldn't get in, the kids didn't seem so disappointed though. One of them is down with tonsilitis right now, is it contagious or what?

Saturday night had a curry at Indian Palace in Port Solent and a few pints of Blakes Gosport Bitter in the Wetherspoons. I was born in Blakes, in Gosport, cool eh?

Smashing dinner Sunday, then came back to London heavily laden with gifts! Won't see the folks again before Christmas, hope they like their presents too...

Going to have a look at some more and today, nice to see this programmer has dissected Google suggest, going to look at his source code...

Did I say it was freezing in the office? It's cold here.

to grab the current location from Google Maps, and let me add that as a town in my database. Not very complex, not very interesting, but there you go, it's that sort of day. Hmm, how do I post my on here again without them getting corrupted?

Good news on the gigography front, Mum and Dad are bringing all my old rubbish from their house this weekend, including old books and records... Ebay here we come!
