Ngs
Home
Ngs and "ngs" related stuff, including places, pubbing, gigs and posts about ngs. If you have something to contribute concerning ngs that is not mentioned here, please contribute. Particularly if you have something to contribute concerning local pubbing or other places, home brew, ale, or appley goodness. Cheers.
This is my personal site, so if you search here for pubbing or other places it will only return ngs pubbing / places I have been to or plan to go to. Fingers crossed it will return those anyway...If you are interested in a more broader search please try ngs on 'Folkestone Gerald, where I list national and international places...

KISS plus Rage Against The Machine, Skunk Anansie, Thunder and Three Colours Red and L7. Got freebies from the NME and drank all the money I saved. Kind of lost it about five songs in and ended up in Covent Garden. Finsbury Park
Suede Fan club gig, played the new album, then a hits set, then a "wheel of fortune" set including best songs "My Dark Star" and "The Living Dead"... Electric Ballroom
Travis plus Kings Of Leon who were OK, Travis a bit boring. VERY annoyed by the Carling-ness of it all and so we left early to get a proper drink. Alexandra Palace
Morrissey Played a couple of Smiths songs, average apart from that. Royal Albert Hall
Ash Went to an aftershow for this at Mass, also in Brixton, there was free absinthe and things, it got a bit messy. Brixton Academy
The Montrose Avenue Matt Everitt of Menswear was in the band, this was the height of girly indie, there were tiaras, fairy wings, and even rollerskates in the crowd. Kings College
Pulp Tickets say "Keep Calm", it was a warmup for Reading. Howard Marks and Chris Morris were there amongst others. The Garage
Frank Black He played Pixies songs Camden Underworld
60ft Dolls plus Jolt (Mark Keds of the Senseless Things) and Yellow Car, as reviewed in OUT! The Wedgewood Rooms
The Lightning Seeds NME Brats show? Plus Octopus, Mundy and Stereophonics again apparently. Must have been a week of gigs around this time.
