It's all vegetarian, with some vegan options. We had the christmas dinner there (just before, uh, CHRISTMAS), but this time we had beanburgers and cake. Very nice, give it a try! It's not big, so you might be lucky to get in. You can reserve a table though.

Booked into Canterbury Wholefoods for lunch on Saturday and very glad we did, had a brilliant christmas dinner, nut roast, roast veges, potatoes, gravy, christmas pud and ice cream, all vegan, brilliant. I would phone up and book if you're heading there on a Saturday, but in theory you can just walk in.
Really good, look forward to going more when we live closer.

Just remembered we went to Canterbury on Saturday, and ate at Canterbury Wholefoods, a veggie / vegan cafe, tucked in the backstreets... food was really tasty, and cheap too, but service was very slow.
They have a website, but there's just some holding page there at the moment, yet another wasted opportunity.
Canterbury Whole Foods is at 1 & 2 Jewry Lane, Canterbury, Telephone 01227 464623. They have a lot of worthy folk music there, but don't let that put you off, it was quiet when we went there...
Canterbury is nice, and would be an ideal place to live, if it wasn't for all the students and tourists.
