Fingers crossed at least Clare gets tickets for this, we couldn't both go anyway... DAMN I am so ungrateful I would rather be at this than at the Albert Hall gig that we already have tickets for... Just found out KISS are doing a warmup date in March too, so trying for that. It's at the Islington Academy, a non more corporate venue for a none more corporate band!
Legendary Brit Pop band, Suede, have announced two intimate warm-up gigs in preparation for their much-heralded reunion concert for Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall. These exclusive performances will be the first time the band has played on stage together for nearly 10 years.
Tickets for warm-up nights in Manchester and London will be available in pairs via an auction with proceeds going to Teenage Cancer Trust.
The auction kicks off at 9am on Friday 26 February until 5pm Friday 12 March at:
Suede auctions
Gig dates and locations are as follows:
* Saturday 20 March, 100 Club, London – 50 pairs
* Sunday 21 March, Ritz, Manchester – 50 pairs
Tickets for the London venue will only be available via the auction; tickets for the Manchester gig will also go on general sale at 9am on Friday 26 February. The reserve auction ticket price will be £45 per ticket, with tickets to be collected at the venue by the credit card holder only.
I don't wish I still went to stuff like this all the time.
