An review of their Deptford adventures...
Have you been to a pub called "The Bear" on Deptford High Street? No, me either, that's because there's not a pub called that, it's some kind of Christian Youth Centre, with no booze license. Funny those details were omitted from the advance publicity for the gig... Still...
Minuteman were fantastic. Two of them played a short semi-acoustic set , perched on stools in the style of Extreme doing "More Than Words" for MTV or something. They're not all that minute either, they are fully grown, and are not to be missed next time around
Athlete were also very nice. The sound was painfully mad in that venue, so we had to go and stand by the bar. Honest. Oh yeah, they had a "raffle" for beer, so we got round the licensing thing.

Michael Baigent and Richard Leigh have won the right to appeal against the "Dan Brown never copied nothing" verdict,
read about it on the BBC, and expect the full court case to hit the papers around the time of the DVD release...
Nothing else to report so far today.

From the popbitch forum, The Times made a bit of a freudian in their reporting of "The Publicity Code" court case. Originally the article said
"Brown, notoriously publicity-shy, travelled from his home in New Hampshire to give publicity on behalf of Random House, spending three days on the stand
thewickedbitch say "Evidence surely?"
For the record, both books are published by the same publisher, sales of both have increased during this case, and would you look at that, there's a film due out next month.
Super lie in today, playing on the computer while Clare's doing her exercises, then we're going for a wander down town to see this Masterplan for the future of Folkestone.
Having a few probs with the site today, disk space filled up as a result of changes made during the hosting company's upgrades, and I can't get in to sort it, also as a result of changes they made, and can't get tech support until Monday, bah.
