Clarendon InnGlad we made the effort to visit this place, after reading about it in More Tales from the Tap Room, it's a great pub. Bit of a walk from Folkestone, being just past the Sandgate Hotel, but worth the effort. It's quite a small Shepherd Neame pub, but... In my youth c. 1992-1994 the place to be for the indie type crowd in Folkestone however was The Sandgate Hotel down the hill. It was a proper scruffy dive bar/pub with a cracking... The Clarendon is now a free house called The Earl of ClarendonI am well out of touch with local pubs. Looking forward to popping in when we move more locally to it.Went past today and peeped in the doors, did not go in though as I had Harry with me.Just posting this as a reply to myself as it's not worth a post...
