New video of a song by my friends MJ Hibbett and the Validators
video is by Rob Manuel, of b3ta fame.
All stop watching it, so it streams more smoothly for me... More Hibbett updates, courtesy of his newsletter:
ITEM! After months of hard work (honest!) by myself and ESPECIALLY the mighty Mr Rob Manuel, the follow-up to the "Hey Hey 16K" video is finally finished and available to download. It's a live-action Proper Music Video for our song "The Gay Train" and I must say it is Really Quite Good - it's available at www.mjhibbett.net/gaytrain, with details of how to watch it on YouTube, Google Video or Myspace. There is much DANCING.
ITEM! All this week I'm appearing on Last Night From Glasgow performing a different song every night. There's a few old favourites and a couple of Exclusive Tracks too, see what you think!
ITEM! While we're at it, here's an update on this month's gigs, with a change of venue in Reading tonight and a new London gig for next week:
Wednesday October 18 - 3B's, Reading (With The Pines)
Thursday October 26 - The Good Ship, London (Maps Magazine night in support of OxJam.)
Friday October 27 - The Brook Inn, Cumbria (Way up North for a Hibbett/Pattison/McClure Adventure!)
Saturday October 28 - University of Sheffield Students' Union, Sheffield (full Validators ACTION, onstage at Fuzztival about 4pm)
Having already done one good deed for the day, in rescuing a load of food from the inlaws fast defrosting broken freezer, and given it a new home in ours, I am now off to give blood...

Don't think there's any links to our family here, but passing this email I received on on for any other passing Clarkes:
My name is James A. Clarke. I am a fourth generation Clarke born in this country. It all started with my Great Great Grandfather James Moore Clarke who emigrated here from England. Not sure where his marriage occurred but he married Louisa Miller (Oct,1861). They had four children. Their names are as follows: My Great Grandfather Frank Clarke (Aug,1888), Eva Clarke (Nov,1883), Annie Clarke (May,1885) & Lucy Clarke (Birthdate not known). It was always said that my Great Great Grandfather was never very happy over here & when he went back to England for a visit he "diappeared". Then my Great Great Grandmother Louisa Miller Clarke got married again to a widower named Nicholas Ammann Jr (Sep,1849), who had four children from his first marriage. They were William (Jan,1874), Frank(Sep,1877), Andrew(Oct,1882) & Katherine(May,1884).
At this point Lucy Clarke was married & became Lucy Clarke Moore. The only record that we have is that she had four children: Arthur, Joseph, Charles & Louise. No further information about her desendents is available.
So Nicholas Ammann Jr had four children,Louisa Miller Clarke Ammann had three chilren still living with her & when the two were married they had three more children together: Elizabeth(Jun,1891), Charles(May,1894) & Lauretta(Jul,1898). Records show that Nicholas & Louisa Ammann and their ten children all lived at 73 Bartlett Street in Brooklyn, New York.
MY FAMILY TAKES SHAPE
My Great Grandfather Frank Clarke Married Jenny Zinn. They had two children. My Grandfather James E.Clarke & his sister Estelle. Estelle later married & became Estelle Miller & had one daughter Gloria. Gloria got married & became Gloria Wynne. My Grandfather married Virginia Fay (Aug,1915) & had two children: My father James Frank Clarke (Feb,1939) & his sister Eileen, Eileen later married & became Eileen Karrol. My father & my mother, Theresa (Scimeca) Clarke (Sep,1939) had my two sisters Valerie Ann (Aug,1963)& Terri Ann (Jul,1965) & myself James Anthony (Mar,1970).
POSSIBLE RELATIVES
Because of all the Women getting married & changing ther names there is a possiblity that people with the following last names are related to my family & me: Moore, Flemming, Hauser, Irons, Toronto, Ammann, Guth, Miller, Wynn, Marten, Conn & Burggraf.
If your family name is any of the above I would love to hear from you you can e mail me at: ACECLARKE@AOL.COM

No connection as far as I can see, but I'm republishing this mail that I keep getting sent here, in case it's of any interest to anyone. Looks like some automated text from some family tree software to me.
My name is James A. Clarke. I am a fourth generation Clarke born in this country. It all started with my Great Great Grandfather James Moore Clarke(1852) who emigrated here from England, he was a carpenter. He married Louisa Miller(Oct,1861). Louisa was born here and they were married here. They had a son named John (Dec,1879)& lived on Harrison Street in Brooklyn. They then had four more children. Their names are as follows: My Great Grandfather Frank Clarke(Aug,1888), Eva Clarke(Nov,1883), Annie Clarke(May,1885) & Lucy Clarke(Birthdate not known). At this point John was no longer living at home & Lucy Clarke was married & became Lucy Clarke Moore. The only record that we have is that she had four children:Arthur, Joseph, Charles & Louise. No further information about her desendents is available.
