Ah sod it, I WILL go out tonight...
Ah sod it, I WILL go out tonight... just got my eleventh hour confirmation of a Cooper Temple Clause @ The 100 Club ticket for tonight, and that makes me a happy man... The debut single is out (though all sold out in a few hours), and there is a real buzz surrounding this Reading Sextet.
If it wasn't for this, my pick of the night would be Kathryn Williams at the Union Chapel... everyone seems to have gone a bit quiet since her Mercury near miss, but if you've not seen her, check her out.
If you have seen her, go and see her again.
If there's anyone who bothers reading these posts who isn't in London, you might be interested in Cousteau at Northampton Soundhaus, I Am Kloot at Ronnie Scotts (the Birmingham one), Terrorvision at Brighton Concorde or the STEREO MC'S at King Tuts Wah Wah Hut.

A gratuitous non-news story about Wilt...
Wilt are releasing their Evening Session as extra tracks on the forthcoming single...
The cd and 7" formats of "No Worries" will include versions of Radio Disco, Expedestrians and a cover of the Jesus and Mary Chain CLASSIC April Skies...
I think Wilt are one of literally "some" bands who performed at Castle Donington Monsters of Rock festival in 1994. Even though they were called Kerbdog at the time. Other acts include Terrorvision, Pantera, and some others I can't remember... Why aren't there more websites dedicated to gigs I have been to?

Going through mine and Clare's CD's, ripping all the one's I don't even listen to with a view to throwing them out, or at least packing them away somewhere. In searching for pictures, I accidentally hit Ebay for Terrorvision's Thrive EP. And it's got a real cash value! Who wants to buy it off me? My one is signed too!
We have a gap now in the corner of the lounge, I never liked the CD racks, and we never ever took a CD from there to put on, everything's computer based now. Now I've got rid of the racks though, the corner looks bare... I don't like clutter, but what can I put there?
Hmm, someone's still asking200 quid for one of these, bit optimistic, I have a couple.

Monsters of Rock Castle Donington 04 Jun 1994 Aerosmith, who I hardly even remember. Not a great lineup, though the biggest one ever. I enjoyed Wildhearts and Terrorvision.
