There's another bit of the furniture we've been buying gone up on ebay:

Not sure why I didn't get an email alert about that, not sure if I'll bid either. Looks a bit wonky to me, as if it's been knocked about, or not put together as well as I did *cough*.
In other news, I put the technorati link back on the site, hopefully it'll not slow things down.
Brane is a bit thick today, had a bottle of wine with a lovely Pizza Express dinner.

"Today is the most extraordinary day ever in radio. Every commercial station in the UK is broadcasting UK Radio Aid - a day of very special guests, presenters and activity to raise money for the Tsunami appeal. You'll never hear anything like it again"
I hope not, how much do I have to give to be sure? Chris Evans just finished and now it's time for Simon Bates!
Good weekend, paid the scaffolder, the fireplace is being fitted this week... made an attempt to go to a recommended curry house The India on Rendezvous Street, but after walking all the way there on a particularly freezing Friday night, it was shut. Noticed Paul's and Shanel's Brasserie were both deserted too, not a good time of year for restaurants I suppose. Called in Chambers for one (it was heaving) then home for a particularly good takeaway delivery from Cheriton Balti.
Saturday went somewhere different, The Globe in Hythe... quiet pub, but nice. It's a Shepherd Neame with two small bars. Sunday just sat about, all the money is spent on the forthcoming fireplace...
We finished the first two disks of Angel and are waiting on the next ones being delivered too...
Technorati implement blog link tagging, it's a bit like del.icio.us I think, don't think it'll work for my blog posts, though I've marked up my links section and might rejig my wiki links - that's all those internal links that don't seem to go anywhere. First I thought this was just to encourage people to link to technorati, but maybe it's benevolent. Here's theTechnorati Folkestone page...

made a bit of a mess of the site on Saturday, just before I was due to head out for Mark's birthday, typed "rm init.pl" instead of "vi init.pl", no backup of this file or anything... so had to try and recreate it from scratch. Luckily it's just config stuff, so puttting it back stopped the errors, but stuff still looks a bit funny... what will people checking out my technorati profile think?
Great weekend as ever, the aforementioned birthday drinks Saturday lunchtime, at the Marquis of Granby at the end of Charlotte Street, then a quick sprint to the station and a fast train down to Folkestone.
Missed all the moving, sorry again about that, just about found time for a chili in The Chambers, then headed off to The Slaughtered Lamb. I'm sorry, The Britannia, and then home. Sunday was a bit more productive, we checked out a potential wedding venue (no good though) and we managed to write off another one on seeing the price... I think www.lympnecastle.com is likely to be equally out of reach, but it looks ace.
Very pleased with the Engadget RSS feed, there's lots of actual content in it, unlike The Register and many others that only have links to stories... Hmm, actually I only have links and a short precis in my RSS feeds... Anyway, that was good to read on the train in this morning, nice train, got a table, bit slow though, stopping everywhere.
