Fareham makes the national news again

From the Daily Mirror:

BAY City Rollers star Les McKeown was booed and heckled by angry fans during a comeback concert.

They claim the 50-year-old singer, recently cleared of drug charges, stumbled on stage 90 minutes late and forgot song lyrics.

Fans demanded their money back as the show in Fareham, Hants, deteriorated into "an hour of inaudible noise".

At one point, the 70s heart-throb even hid behind an amplifier.

Fan Kay Heath said: "He couldn't sing at all." Rod Cameron, of concert venue Ferneham Hall, said: "It wasn't a good show."

But McKeown blamed the hall's sound system and claimed he forgot the lyrics as a joke.

Tayyab

Apparently authentic Pakistani food, absolutely bloody fantastic curry anyway, and well worth the enormous queue we had to get in on Saturday night. It's small, and it's got no booze license, and it was a bun-fight to get a table (much queue jumping) and they forgot a couple of things off our order, but the food was very good, this is a real gem.

Curry and Mouse Poo

TOP curry yesterday, went to Tayyab near Whitechapel, very good, queued right out the door, which makes a change from all the hustling you get on Brick Lane... had a few pints before in The Ten Bells, also well recommended.

Note to self: Never, ever go to Lakeside again, it's rubbish. It's a shame, because it was pretty speedy to get too and from, but next time we're heading to Bluewater instead.

Cleaned out the back of the cupboard, a mouse had definitely been in there, probably hundreds of mice, who'd been gorging themselves on a long forgotten bag of flour and then shitting every where.

Also set up a weblog for Clare today, you will use it won't you lover?
