I updated Clare's PSP yesterday, it's now got a new version of it's little operating system, which you can download direct from Sony. As well as some security issues and the ability to play Windows Media files now, it's got an RSS reader too. I hope this means we can subscribe to podcasts and have the audio / video / pictures download automatically, will report back. While I'm here, Iw ill say again what a GREAT piece of kit this is, much recommended. Here are the five games we have, a slight repost from popex:
Grand Theft Auto - Liberty City Stories. Ace, exactly like Vice City on the PS2, but all new missions, vehicles, mini games etc. A must if you liked Vice City at all.
SSX On Tour. Again a sequel to the PS2 SSX snowboarding games. We loved these, it's new courses, new tricks, new features, and all in your hand. With GTA (above) these must be the two best PSP games around by far.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Not all that so far, better for kids maybe, not explored this game much yet though.
Everybody's Golf. This came with our bundle, it's a fun golf game. No, really, better than it sounds.
F1 Grand Prix. No idea, haven't looked at it, it came with the bundle also.
Might be a while before we get any more, but the built in web browser is going to make this a long useful device even if we never get another game. If it can be hacked, then that's great. Here's someone who's using the PSP as a remote control for a real car.
Please send me your recommended PSP sites

More Habitat Radius Oak Furniture, this dining table. Far too big for us, and optimistically priced I'd say at £490. Got some new bargain offers from Amazon too, PSP Giga Pack with 4 games at £310, it'd be great if you could pick your own games, but it's from a very limited range. Everyone wants Liberty City Stories and SSX Tour so they're not included anywhere.. Amazon do have the console only, at £180, about the best price around, but they can't guarantee delivery for christmas.
Seems the new versions of my wireless router and my camera are also knocked down. Finally, something we could probably do with at some point, a17'' TFT Monitor for £140.
Infommercial over. Nothing to report today really. Possibly a big up to Sainsbury, we did our shopping there at the weekend and were in the mood for a hot pudding. All the fruit crumbles and the like were loaded with milk and butter and things, but their economy / value apple pie was vegan friendly, and very good, we ate it last night. Saved some for lunch today too.
Ooh, how to upgrade your IPOD Nano...

We have to have a security guard in over the christmas period as there are so few people about, I was hoping for a minute there he wasn't going to let me in... other than that no problems getting to work today.
Played a bit of SSX 3 and Return of the King, didn't get very far on either of them... it's good to play SSX again against the bird without her knowing all the secret routes and tricks down the mountain, I'm sure it won't be long before she's ahead of me again though - anyone out there know of any SSX 3 hints and tips?
Got an annoying note from UPS, who I guess are supposed to be delivering my iTrip - there's an 18 pound customs charge on it, how unfair is that? This will end up costing me a load, and I didn't really want it anyway, I just ordered one as you weren't supposed to be able to get them here...
Diversion problems on the 106 bus route I suspect, there's a yellow sign at the bus stop that I would get off at on the way home saying the stop is out of use... the bus into work (towards Finsbury Park) is still going along the normal diverted route, down to The Tup and round Clissold Park, but on the way home it must be diverted elsewhere, a magical mystery tour...
It's very quiet here. I was up early today, so I had toasted sandwiches for breakfast, with mushroom and onion and tomato and that, yum. I did 5k on the exercise bike too, a quick burst of old year resolution.
