We watched a lot of this over the weekend, but not the end! We like to see a good match as much as anyone, but late on a Sunday night I'd prefer it to be a bit of a drubbing. Taking things to the black ball in the last possible frame, after many many long safety exchanges is no good for us who have to be up early! What a finish to the last Masters at Wembley though.
We were there at Wembley in 2003 I think, watching the towers being demolished in between games.
So where should it move to now? The Leas Club? Folkestone Snooker Club?
In other gaming news, no time for The Clarke Cup this weekend, but we played a couple of friendlies and I was soundly thrashed. We did decide there was no time for a full cup fixture before I started to lose, honest.

Backstage access to BBC news etc... for developers, to make something funky out of BBC content. What should I do? Oh, not actually a lot there from the beeb yet except links to all their RSS feeds, and some user contributed ideas for BBC Hacks. Some actualy projects from third parties are there too, just proxies that replace BBC content with links etc though...
Hmm, played precisely NO games of pool yesterday, had to go to the snooker club to get a refund on the Jimmy White tickets. The posters up now say that Jimmy recommended his friend the new BBC commentator Ken Doherty as his replacement, and that Ken does comedy along with his snooker... he's the new John Virgo! I would be half tempted to go still, but it's not up to me, I won't be there as I am off at the rugby. Anyway got back from there and then there was too much good TV on, we will have to rearrange the flat so we can play pool and watch TV at the same time.
Fine commute in today, not tiring, but chaos on the Northern Line... Tonight will be a late night as we're off to the theatre, with a cheeky dinner in Mildred's before.

Went for carriage number one today on our little commute from Folkestone to Charing Cross, and it was just great. Seems to be the carriage of choice for the professional commuter, so the tables were already bagsed, but everyone was silent, either sleeping or engrossed in an improving book or quality daily.
Took a stroll down to Folkestone snooker club last night before Property Ladder, to get Jimmy White tickets. He's coming to Folkestone and playing against the Malteser Tony Drago. I will miss it as I'm at the Rugby, but Clare is excited about it.
This week's Property Ladder was good, that house was quite fab for only 40k, being on three levels like that. Think they were quite lucky not to lose a fortune with their wacky ideas. I thought this series might be one like trail of misery, as on previous shows the amateur developers only seem to have been saved by booming property prices, now seemingly over...
