Booked into Canterbury Wholefoods for lunch on Saturday and very glad we did, had a brilliant christmas dinner, nut roast, roast veges, potatoes, gravy, christmas pud and ice cream, all vegan, brilliant. I would phone up and book if you're heading there on a Saturday, but in theory you can just walk in.
Really good, look forward to going more when we live closer.

No, not "roast potato" and "garlic bread", but actually bread made with garlic and roast potatoes, can you imagine such a thing? I got some at the weekend from Karl's Good Food.
It was nice, subtler than I was expecting, great bread though. The place is a posh deli type affair in the centre of Canterbury, but not too pricey to keep me out really.

Bah, making lunch, thought I'd have a hummus and roasted tomato baguette, like what they used to do in Pret. Rick Stein says they take nearly two hours... so, it's going to be hummus and half roasted tomatoes.
Had a fairly constructive day yesterday, didn't go out, but reorganised and rewired my computer area, tidied things up a bit. Got the camera sorted, so there are a load more pics up here. Opened up the computer and put in more memory, a Firewire card, and a DVD burner. Not tested any of it out yet, but the computer powered right back up again and appears to be working, so that's a start.
Going for a walk after lunch, with a big bag of nuts, to try and find more squirrels.
