For me, this is a privilege and I will rise to it. Curating Meltdown is a great opportunity for me to acknowledge some of the music and words that have excited me over the years. Some of you have Ipods, I have Meltdown.
Morrissey is curating this years Meltdown at the Royal Festival Hall... it's on from the 11th to the 27th of June, and there will be full details at www.rfh.org.uk/meltdown/. For now there's just a lovely picture of Morrissey, with a ruddy great shooter.

Two years ago Meltdown was curated by Dame David Bowie, and I was lucky enough to get tickets to see his show at RFH, how exciting is that? I'VE NO IDEA, because the bloody thing clashed with Glastonbury Festival, and I had to choose, and we chose Glastonbury...
