An embarrassing and humiliating defeat at the Britania quiz last nightWas a tougher quiz than previously, hence our fairly poor score of 74.5% However the embarrassing bit was one of our team deciding we'd been harshly marked and deserved an extra point, conferred with the team who we thought had marked our paper, agre... Biggest prize pot so far in the Britannia quizFirst prize was an astounding £27, that's nearly as good as the thirteen grand plus that us up for grabs on Pointless right now. Did not seem like the pub was that full to me, was a very hot day so not heaving when we arrived, I didn't think the priz... A new threat at the Brit quiz!We were THRASHED into second place at the Britannia quiz yesterday, a new team Four Squares beat us by eight points, this is not good! I hope a) they don't come back or b) they do come back and we beat them. Maybe it was just beginners luck for them.... Cloud move was 99% perfectHmm, that 1% imperfect meant we had to roll back at about 6am, and have to go through the whole process again on Monday night. The code was all good (ahem, all my stuff worked) the only issue was with some domain names that we don't control. We tried... A pitiful third in the quiz last night, booOld adversaries who have beaten us before came in first and second. We were not confident, was a hard quiz, so I suppose third is not too bad. Going to give it another go next week.Whoop-ya won the Britannia quiz again last nightA surprise win, we did not think we'd done very well, but then there were not many teams in attendance. we came top with a score of 73 which is quite low.Watched Death In Paradise when we got in, it's nice looking but very very guessable.... Pub challengeTonight's the night of the pub quiz and dinner... Not sure how this is going to work with everyone being on a diet and not drinking.
