Indigo2 at the O2 Arena are boasting a fast pint:

"7 second pint" fast-pour technology at both of the large bars, quality air conditioning and more toilets per audience member than any other venue of comparable size.

Do you think that bodes well for getting a quality drink anywhere when we go to The Cure next month? What do they serve at the bar at the O2? It used to be that all you could get was Carling, and I think I'd rather not drink than drink that, but that was when they sponsored every venue. Now O2 have taken over, what's the beer situation? Should I wear Wine rack, from the makers of the beer belly into the gig?

99p pints at Wetherspoons?

According to this story from Fareham, does it apply across the whole Wetherspoons chain?

Community pubs say there is no way they can match Wetherspoon's, which has slashed the prices of drinks at its pubs.

The pub is selling pints of Greene King IPA ale and bottles of San Miguel lager for under a pound – and says the price drop is 'indefinite'.

No mention of it on www.jdwetherspoon.co.uk yet.
