Having seen OSX in action, it sure is a pretty lil thang, but I would be tempted to went for an Intel version of a Mac so I could sneak in a Windows dual boot for when I got homesick.

osx will sort out all these problems. if you cant get hold of that, download and install linux (yellowdog or debian) - it'll run pretty nicely on an imac.
